Jack Allen BSc, MISCP, AHPC, SPA

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Jack graduated with Honours from the University of Limerick (Ireland) and has been working in Singapore for the past eight years. He is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and also holds full registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (Singapore).

Prior to joining Physio 101, Jack worked in Singapore’s largest rehab hospital covering inpatients and outpatients, as well as having worked in multiple private clinics locally. Within the private setting, Jack has been mostly dedicated to treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic conditions, and a large array of post-surgical orthopaedic cases.

Being passionate about furthering his knowledge in the field of physiotherapy, Jack constantly upgrades himself by attending courses within Singapore and internationally. Jack has attended masterclasses in the management of jaw and neck pain, fully certified in Dry Needling (Australia), and is a Level 2 Immediate Pitch-side Medic (World Rugby). Jack has recently completed Dr. Lyn Watson’s masterclass on the management of shoulder dysfunction.

In his spare time, Jack has represented Singapore internationally in Gaelic Football and Hurling. Jack plays for the Gaelic Rebels weekly within one of Singapore’s domestic football leagues. Jack has completed many long distance events in Singapore, preferring the half marathon distance.

Jack’s wide exposure, from the elderly within the rehab setting to the athletes within the clinic setting, has helped Jack develop into an all-rounded physiotherapist that seeks out the root cause of an impairment in order to provide effective treatment to achieve an optimal outcome for all his patients.
