Ming graduated form the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2014 and has had over 10 years of combined experience working in Singapore and Australia. She started her career at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, specialising in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation in children and adolescents. She developed a keen interest in chronic pain management and was a member of the children’s chronic pain management team.
She has since worked in private practice musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation in both Singapore and Melbourne and has also spent 3 years upskilling in women’s pelvic health through the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Pelvic Health Melbourne, and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in the US. She has a speciali interest in pregnancy and post-partum rehabilitation, including supporting women to stay active throughout their pregnancies for better health in midlife and beyond!
Ming strongly believes in providing empathy, compassion and high-value evidence-based care to her patients. She understands the vulnerability of pain and physical dysfunction and seeks to support and empower her patients to participate actively in their own recovery. Ming is DMA-certified in Clinical Pilates, and uses a movement-based classification and treatment approach in conjunction with dry needling and manual therapy to treat patients.
